The Morakniv Hook Knife 164 has a single-edged stainless steel blade. The single-edged blade is sharp in one side only which gives you the possibility to use your other hand and push the spine of the blade with your thumb.

To protect both you and the knife it comes with a simple but ingeniously designed edge protection made out of Swedish vegetable tanned cowhide manufactured locally.
